THE ASK
To redesign the current diagnostic print-out chart to read clearly.
This was strictly a graphic design update.
Currently, the chart is not easily legible and provides no real solution for our users.
I proposed a more modern solution.
RESEARCH
Worked with the users (Bar owners) and account representatives to understand their goal for this chart.
Explored best solutions and what content may be useful for diagnostic purposes.
CHALLENGE THE ASK
The chart was difficult to understand and our users avoided it since it lacked resolution. This resulted in a reliance on customer support lines.
I proposed an application that would provide video tutorials for the fix. Providing power back to the user to resolve their own issues.
WIRE FLOW AND WIREFRAMES
These were used primarily to sell my thought process to those on the account. Once I had my teams buy in on the idea I would proceed to design the visual look and feel.
DESIGN ITERATION 1
I utilized the current “Perfect Pour” campaign to theme the new mobile app. Below is a graphic from the campaign followed by the high fidelity flow.
DESIGN ITERATION 2
To provide our client with the appropriate options for this proposal, I created a version inspired by the Guinness style guide.
This design comes with the added benefit of accessibility in a dark setting such as a bar.
DEVELOP
This application was passed off to the Diageo development team
